As one of the few major towns not on the Mahon-Ciutadella road, Es Migjorn retains the charm of a small Menorcan village. Whitewashed buildings, green shutters and doors and respect for the afternoon siesta - this is a place to go to experience rural Menorca.

Es Mighorn holds its annual fiesta in honour of St Christopher on the 5th weekend in July (or first in August). Visitors are welcome.
